We all love science. Science offers numerous benefits to the society and for the mankind. Apart from a common science,particularly we love to explore amazing facts in science. Here are some interesting science facts I read this evening with explanation that will be jaw-dropping and also that will be hard to believe but exist in our everyday life. 

The Majority of Earth’s Oxygen Is Produced by Oceans 

I was amazed while reading this fact and I was curious to know the reason behind that because all these years we all believed that we get oxygen from trees. Various scientists estimate that 50%-80% of the earth’s oxygen is produced by the oceans. The majority of this production is from plant-based marine organisms. Oceanic plankton, algae, seaweed, and some bacteria can photosynthesize & produce more than half of the world’s oxygen. 

 The human stomach can dissolve razor blades

This may sound so horrible but still interesting. In our school, we would have definitely come across a term "pH" in science. Yes, our stomach is capable of dissolving a razor blade because lower the pH value, stronger the acid is. 

Animals Use Earth’s Magnetic Field to Know Their Location

Yes, among amazing facts in science, sea animals have the ability to sense the magnetic fields of the earth for their orientation. According to the U.S. Geological Study, “There are pieces of evidence showing that some animals, like sea turtles and salmon, can sense the earth’s magnetic fields and use it for navigation.” But is the earth a magnet? Yes. The earth is composed of layers having different chemical compositions and physical properties. The crust of the earth has some magnetization while its core generates its own magnetic field. 

I was stunned while seeing all these facts. Isn't it so adept?
